Solitario, the luxury lab-grown diamond brand, has announced a partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP) to introduce a new fine diamond jewellery collection inspired by two globally recognised franchises-Tom & Jerry and the DC Universe-for the Indian market.
The collections were unveiled at a launch event held at Solaire, BKC, Mumbai, bringing together elements of nostalgia, pop culture and contemporary luxury. The event featured immersive zones themed around Tom & Jerry and DC superheroes, and was attended by luxury editors, stylists, creators and HNIs. Vivek Oberoi, co-founder of Solitario, and actor Taha Shah Badussha, the face of Solitario’s Gentlemen’s Edit, were present at the launch.
Developed over six months, the collections comprise more than 20 handcrafted pieces, each requiring 18 to 40 hours of detailed craftsmanship by a team of 14 master karigars. Crafted in 18K vermeil gold, the designs incorporate micro-pavé lab-grown diamonds, 3D character modelling and precision engraving, translating iconic characters and symbols into wearable luxury.
The Tom & Jerry line focuses on playful, everyday designs such as dual-motif earrings, miniature pendants, bracelets and stackable rings. In contrast, the DC Universe collection features bolder statement pieces inspired by Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and The Flash, including emblematic pendants, studs and bracelets.
Commenting on the collaboration, Ricky Vasandani, managing director, Solitario, said the partnership reflects the brand’s purpose of democratizing ethical luxury by combining sustainable lab-grown diamonds with globally loved stories.
The launch was attended by several celebrities and influencers, including Farah Khan, Eijaz Khan, Nia Sharma, Tejaswi Prakash, Karan Kundra and Jasmin Bhasin, among others, underscoring the brand’s focus on expanding the appeal of ethical luxury among millennial and Gen Z consumers.
The Tom & Jerry and DC Universe collections are now available across Solitario’s retail stores and online platforms.
