Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has appointed Mukund Acharya as Chief Technology Officer, effective June 19, 2025. With over 29 years of experience, Mukund will lead SPNI’s enterprise tech, LIV technology, and broadcast operations, driving digital transformation and innovation across platforms. He joins from Disney+ Hotstar (now JioStar), where he led key projects like the JioCinema-Hotstar integration and ICC World Cup streaming. Reporting to MD & CEO Gaurav Banerjee, Mukund will play a vital role in aligning SPNI’s tech strategy with its growth vision.
