Swiggy Dineout Brings Back GIRF 2025 with Uorfi Javed in a Disco-Themed Celebration

Swiggy Dineout has launched the highly anticipated Great Indian Restaurant Festival (GIRF) 2025, kicking off on August 22 and running for two festive months. This year’s theme, ‘Discount Hai Disco’, adds a vibrant twist to dining out, featuring a quirky campaign film starring Uorfi Javed in a disco-inspired avatar.

GIRF 2025 offers up to 50% off at over 20,000 restaurants across 50 cities in India, covering everything from luxury dining and family eateries to buzzing cafes, pubs, and bars. HDFC Bank credit card users can enjoy an additional 10% off, and Swiggy has sweetened the deal further with the introduction of DineCash – a cashback program offering 10% of the bill amount back on every meal, redeemable on future visits.

The disco-themed campaign film, conceptualised by The New Thing, brings a playful and energetic vibe. It opens with a diner holding a remote with two buttons: “Call for Cheque” and “Call for Disco.” Upon pressing the latter, a full-blown disco party erupts in the restaurant, with Uorfi Javed emerging dramatically from a glittering disco ball.
