Tata Play and FanCode Join Forces to Deliver Premium Sports Coverage Across Platforms

Tata Play has partnered with FanCode to provide comprehensive sports coverage to its direct-to-home and streaming subscribers. The collaboration, branded as Tata Play FanCode Sports, will deliver over 100 hours of live sports content monthly across eight major sports categories and numerous tournaments.

Indian sports enthusiasts will gain access to premier events including the Carabao Cup, Copa Del Rey, Concacaf Champions Cup, and international cricket tours such as Australia’s visit to West Indies and South Africa’s Zimbabwe tour. The platform will also feature numerous domestic and international T20 cricket leagues.

In a significant development for DTH subscribers, Formula 1 racing will be available through the service, bringing all 24 Grand Prix weekends to viewers. Fans can watch Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari debut and his renewed rivalry with Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, alongside performances from global sporting icons like Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé, and Lionel Messi.

Pallavi Puri, Tata Play’s Chief Commercial and Content Officer, called the partnership “a significant milestone” that enhances the diversity and accessibility of live sports content across platforms. FanCode co-founder Yannick Colaco added that the collaboration aligns with their vision of making sports more accessible while delivering quality content and technology to ensure excellent viewing experiences.
