Tata Tea Gold’s Durga Puja Campaign Celebrates Bengal’s Artistry and Traditions

Tata Tea Gold has unveiled its festive campaign, “Banglar Shilpi Shojjito Pujo,” paying tribute to the rich artistic heritage of West Bengal during Durga Puja. As part of this initiative, the brand has launched ten limited-edition festive tea packs created in collaboration with some of Bengal’s most celebrated artists.

Each pack captures the essence of Durga Puja through diverse art forms – Acrylic and Oil Paintings, Watercolors, Dry Pastels, and Digital Art. Participating artists include Goutam Sarkar, Gopal Naskar, Gourab Kundu, Anjan Bhattacharya, and Joyeeta Bose, each interpreting the festival’s rituals and moments in their distinctive styles.

The packs collectively narrate the story of Puja – from the beats of the dhaak on Shashti to the shankh on Saptami, Ashtami prayers, Nabami’s dhunuchi dance, and the sindoor khela of Dashami. Together, they form a collectible series designed to evoke nostalgia and celebrate the cultural vibrancy of Bengal.

To complement the pack designs, Tata Tea Gold has released a visually stunning TVC. The film opens in a Bengali home, where a steaming cup of tea becomes the canvas for a journey across West Bengal. The rising steam transforms into colorful brushstrokes, seamlessly flowing into scenes of pandals, rituals, and festivities – turning Bengal itself into a living painting.

Puneet Das, President – Packaged Beverages (India & South Asia), Tata Consumer Products, said:

“Durga Puja is not just a festival; it is an emotion that unites Bengal. Through this campaign, we celebrate the state’s artistic soul by turning every tea pack into a tribute to its traditions and rituals. Our aim is to make Pujo celebrations even more memorable for our consumers.”
