Times Play Expands Reach Through Telecom and OTT Aggregator Partnerships

Times Network’s OTT platform, Times Play, has significantly widened its distribution footprint by integrating with major telecom-led OTT bundles and content aggregation platforms across India. The service is now available on JioTV+, Airtel Xstream Play, Vi Movies & TV, Tata Play Binge and OTTplay, enabling users to access Times Play through bundled subscriptions already embedded within familiar digital ecosystems.

This expansion reflects a strategic shift toward meeting audiences where they already consume content, rather than relying solely on standalone app adoption. By partnering with leading telecom operators and aggregators, Times Play positions itself as part of everyday viewing habits, benefiting from scale, convenience and reduced subscription friction.

In addition to telecom integrations, Times Play is accessible across a wide range of connected TV platforms and operating systems, including iOS, Android, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Samsung Smart TVs and LG Smart TVs. This multi-device availability allows the platform to cater to both mobile-first viewers and audiences consuming content on larger screens at home.

Times Play brings together live television, video-on-demand and sports programming within a single interface. Its content offering includes web series, films, short-form formats, 11 live television channels and sports content such as pickleball. The live channel lineup spans entertainment, news and business, including Romedy Now, Movies Now, MNX, MN+, Zoom, Times Now, Times Now Navbharat, ET Now, ET Now Swadesh, Mirror Now and Pickleball Now.

Commenting on the expansion, Ashish Sehgal, CEO of Times Television Network and chief growth officer, Media & Entertainment, said the platform was designed to seamlessly blend live TV and VoD experiences for digital audiences. According to Sehgal, integration with telecom bundles and aggregators allows Times Play to scale efficiently while delivering a unified content experience across devices, without the complexity of multiple apps or subscriptions.

With this rollout, Times Play strengthens its presence within India’s evolving OTT landscape, prioritising accessibility, scale and seamless consumption over standalone positioning.
