Cricket equipment brand SiXiT has appointed Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh as the brand ambassador for its cricket ball category, marking a strategic step in the company’s expansion across the broader cricket equipment market.
SiXiT has built a strong presence in India’s cricket tennis-ball segment, which remains one of the most widely played formats across neighbourhood games, community tournaments and local leagues. The brand’s products are commonly used by recreational players and grassroots tournaments, helping it establish a deep connection with emerging cricketers.
Building on this foundation, the company now plans to expand its portfolio beyond tennis balls. Upcoming product categories will include leather cricket balls, cricket kits, bats and footwear, signalling SiXiT’s ambitions to grow as a full-scale cricket equipment brand.
Bhavin Lakhlani, Sales Head at SiXiT, said the association reflects the brand’s commitment to grassroots cricket culture in India. He highlighted that for many aspiring players, the journey in cricket begins with a tennis ball on local grounds, and the brand aims to support this ecosystem as it evolves.
To amplify this vision, SiXiT is preparing a marketing campaign centred on grassroots cricket. The initiative will include digital storytelling, creator collaborations and activations through local tournaments to engage directly with young players across the country.
Marketing and Digital Commerce Head Bharat Singh added that cricket participation continues to grow across formats—from gully cricket to academy-level competition-creating opportunities for the brand to engage players at every stage of their journey.
Currently valued at ₹125 crore, SiXiT aims to reach ₹305 crore in revenue within the next three years. The company operates a 60,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Madurai and employs around 1,000 people producing equipment for grassroots and recreational cricketers.
