Traya Launches Brand Film Featuring Sunil Grover to Bust Hair Loss Myths

Traya, the science-led hair loss solutions brand, has unveiled a new brand film starring popular actor and comedian Sunil Grover. The film is inspired by the real-life story of a Traya user and addresses one of the most persistent myths surrounding hair loss: “Once it’s gone, it’s gone for good.”

Set in a relatable family setting, the film follows a young man facing skepticism from an older relative who repeats the familiar line, “Baal ek baar gaye toh wapas nahi aate.” The disbelief reflects a common mindset in India, shaped by years of ineffective treatments and misinformation. Enter Sunil Grover, who cleverly flips the narrative by pointing out that the protagonist now has better hair than in his own wedding photo. The moment underscores the message: with the right treatment, regrowth is possible.

The film draws from the journey of Nikhil, a Traya customer who shared, “I look better now than I did in my wedding photos. For years, I wore a cap to hide my scalp. But now, I feel more confident than ever-thanks to Traya.”

Saloni Anand, co-founder of Traya, said, “This campaign is about changing the narrative around hair loss. It’s not just cosmetic-it’s internal. And when addressed the right way, it’s reversible.”

The film is live across Traya’s digital platforms including YouTube and Instagram, aiming to inspire belief and break long-held stigmas.
