New category offers real-time tracking, upfront pricing, and app-based booking for shipments up to 750 kg

Uber has introduced Courier XL in India, an expansion of its logistics service, Uber Courier. Designed for larger, heavier deliveries, Courier XL utilizes 3- and 4-wheeler vehicles to transport goods weighing up to 750 kilograms. This move aims to provide a more robust delivery option for users requiring transportation of bulkier items.

Building on the momentum of Uber Courier – which currently operates in 25 cities and has served over 5 million users – Courier XL responds to the increasing demand for larger-scale logistics solutions. The service initially focused on two-wheeler deliveries but saw a more than 50% year-on-year growth in 2024, with continued expansion into early 2025.

Courier XL maintains all the core features users expect from Uber’s logistics platform: live tracking, transparent pricing, on-demand convenience, and easy booking via the Uber app. The service has officially launched in Delhi NCR and Mumbai, with rollouts to additional cities planned in the near future.
