Through UMG’s global network, the partnership aims to bring Mad For Mussic’s repertoire to international audiences.
Universal Music India (UMI), a division of Universal Music Group (UMG), has entered into a strategic partnership with Hindi film production house Maddock Films and its newly launched music label, Mad For Mussic, founded by producer-director Dinesh Vijan.
Under this partnership, UMI will serve as the global strategic partner for Mad For Mussic’s future film soundtracks, business ventures, and product offerings. Leveraging UMG’s expansive global network, the collaboration aims to provide Mad For Mussic’s catalogue with greater international exposure.
This move enhances UMI’s already significant presence in the Hindi film music space. The label has an established history of working with iconic Bollywood soundtracks, including titles such as Sholay, Deewar, Dostana, Yaarana, Julie, Saagar, Shaan, Blackmail, Khamoshi, Bombay, Devdas, and Sur.
