Sleepfresh, one of India’s established mattress brands, is broadening its horizons-entering the seating solutions market with a brand-new range of sofas, recliners, and sofa beds under its home label, Raunak Homes. The move marks a significant shift from sleep-specific products to a wider focus on home comfort.
With over 27 years of experience in polyurethane foam and rubberised coir, and a long-standing presence as raw material suppliers to the seating industry, this expansion into finished furniture is a strategic progression for Sleepfresh. The new product line will be manufactured entirely in-house at the company’s new facility in Howrah, West Bengal. With a monthly production capacity of 1,200 units and a strict zero-outsourcing policy, Sleepfresh aims to ensure full control over quality and design.

“We’ve always aspired to directly reach end consumers with quality-driven, finished products,” said Raunak Agarwal, executive director of Raunak Coirs, the parent company of Sleepfresh Mattress. “This new vertical brings us closer to that vision-extending the same core values of durability, affordability, and quality from sleep to seating.”
The Raunak Homes range will initially include sofas, recliners, and sofa beds catering to both residential and commercial use. Designed by an in-house team with support from seasoned designers and global collaborators, the collection emphasises ergonomic design, use of sustainable fabrics like bamboo and jute, and affordability- making it accessible to India’s value-conscious middle class.
Vidya Balan Champions Mattress Innovation
Meanwhile, Sleepfresh continues its campaign featuring actress Vidya Balan, spotlighting its signature mattress technologies: Vibrotech, Spacertech, and Actireact. These R&D-led innovations aim to redefine sleep comfort by blending science with sustainability-reinforcing Sleepfresh’s position as a brand rooted in genuine innovation.

This dual-pronged push-into seating and deeper storytelling-signals Sleepfresh’s long-term growth strategy. The rollout of Raunak Homes will happen in phases, starting with key regional markets to streamline logistics and service. While Sleepfresh already boasts a network of over 2,000 retailers and 35 exclusive outlets, the seating vertical will also build new partnerships within the furniture and home solutions ecosystem.
