Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) has officially unveiled the names and leadership teams for the two independent companies that will be formed as part of its anticipated 2026 split. The separation will result in two distinct entities: Warner Bros. and Discovery Global.
Warner Bros. will oversee the company’s entertainment and streaming operations. This includes Warner Bros. Television, Motion Picture Group, DC Studios, HBO, HBO Max, and Gaming Studios. The name reflects the studio’s historic legacy and continued focus on storytelling and digital growth. David Zaslav, current president and CEO of WBD, will continue to lead Warner Bros. post-split.
