WPP has announced a major expansion of its global partnership with Vercel, integrating Vercel’s AI-powered tools-v0 and AI SDK-into its workflows to empower teams worldwide. Central to this collaboration is the introduction of “vibe coding,” a new programming approach that uses natural language prompts to accelerate digital creation.
This initiative aims to simplify and speed up the design, prototyping, testing, and deployment of digital experiences by enabling users to generate code through text descriptions. By leveraging Vercel’s AI models, even team members without deep coding skills can create websites, applications, and marketing campaigns efficiently.
Internal pilots and a recent network-wide hackathon showed that Vercel’s technology could boost app and website development speed by up to 25%, freeing teams to focus more on creative storytelling, user flows, and design elements.
WPP’s expanded partnership grants it priority access to Vercel’s new products, advisory input on the company’s roadmap, and collaboration on innovations within WPP Open, the group’s AI-driven marketing platform.
Stephan Pretorius, WPP CTO, emphasized the benefits: “Vercel’s AI tools dissolve traditional role boundaries, letting teams move from prompt to prototype swiftly, unlocking creativity and delivering superior client results.”
Malte Ubl, Vercel CTO, added: “This partnership enables rapid iteration and empowers WPP designers and engineers to build real features and AI-driven products faster, transforming client engagement.”
Together, WPP and Vercel are driving a new era of agile, AI-enhanced digital creativity.
