Homegrown electronics brand Zebronics India has announced the acquisition of iBall, marking a significant development in India’s consumer technology space. The move signals iBall’s return to the market with a renewed vision, strengthened by Zebronics’ operational scale, distribution strength, manufacturing capabilities, and service ecosystem.
Founded in 2001, iBall emerged as one of India’s earliest premium technology brands, earning trust for its quality, consistency, and design-driven approach. With the acquisition, the brand enters a new phase focused on revitalising its core strengths while adapting to the expectations of today’s digitally savvy and design-conscious consumers. Guided by the ethos of “Designed for Excellence,” iBall’s relaunch aims to blend its legacy with modern innovation.
Rajesh Doshi, Co-Founder and Director at Zebronics, said the decision was unanimously approved by the board and represents a long-term strategic investment. He added that the company is already working on relaunching iBall with an exciting new product portfolio, ensuring both brands grow in parallel across India.
Pradeep Doshi, Co-Founder and Director, highlighted iBall’s strong brand recall and deep loyalty among channel partners, stating that the synergy between iBall’s legacy and Zebronics’ scale will accelerate growth.
Sandeep Doshi, Director at Zebronics, shared that the acquisition followed six months of careful planning, with a phased expansion strategy in place-starting with offline channel strengthening and followed by a calibrated online rollout.
Yash Doshi, Director, added that refreshing iBall’s visual identity while preserving its essence has been a key focus, ensuring the brand remains contemporary yet authentic as it enters its next chapter.
