Chandan Mendiratta – Zepto’s Chief Brand Officer, announced the launch of a new Secret Santa product on LinkedIn, positioning it as a one-stop solution for festive gifting. The feature allows users to create groups, invite friends, add wishlists and save delivery addresses, making Secret Santa exchanges simpler and more organised.
Once the setup is complete, participants can anonymously send gifts directly to a recipient’s saved address, with Zepto’s 10-minute delivery ensuring last-minute convenience. The product also supports cross-country groups, enabling users to include friends and family regardless of their location.
According to the post, the feature is designed for a wide range of groups-from college friends and office teams to family and social messaging groups-bringing them together on a single platform for festive exchanges.
Calling it an industry-first offering, the Chief Brand Officer credited Zepto’s engineering, product and business teams for executing the launch, describing the effort as a strong example of cross-functional collaboration and innovation.
