Truecaller x Zepto
Zepto, the quick commerce platform, has partnered with Truecaller, a global communications leader, to boost user trust, streamline communication, and improve operational efficiency. This collaboration is designed to enhance user engagement throughout the entire Zepto journey-from onboarding to doorstep delivery.
Through Truecaller’s Customer Experience Solutions, this alliance brings a new level of clarity and reliability to real-time communication among customers, delivery personnel, support teams, and new hires.
Zepto now uses Truecaller’s Verified Business Caller ID, which displays the Zepto brand name, logo, and a verified badge during calls. This helps users identify genuine calls instantly, reducing confusion and improving overall communication.
To further strengthen engagement, Zepto has integrated several of Truecaller’s advanced tools:
- Call Reason: Adds context to calls so users know why they’re being contacted.
- Video Caller ID: Shows branded visuals before a call connects.
- Call Me Back: Enables users to conveniently reconnect, especially useful for missed delivery or onboarding calls.
Additionally, Zepto uses Verified Campaigns to enable targeted outreach through branded calls and SMS-delivering more personalized, high-impact communication.
At the onboarding stage, Zepto leverages Truecaller’s SDK to offer a one-tap, OTP-less login for both Zepto and Zepto Café. This reduces friction, minimizes drop-offs, and speeds up user conversions-especially during high-demand periods.
