Rohit Saval, former ABP Network executive, has launched Zingabad, a digital-first content platform designed specifically for Gen Z audiences. Positioned at the intersection of entertainment and information, the platform aims to deliver content across lifestyle, technology, and social themes in formats tailored for fast, mobile-first consumption.
The launch was amplified through a music-led campaign featuring Yo Yo Honey Singh, whose anthem quickly gained traction, crossing 10 million views and trending on YouTube. The campaign also received strong support from celebrities such as Anupam Kher, Kapil Sharma, Shehnaaz Gill, and Sonu Sood, along with several digital creators, helping build early visibility.
Zingabad’s content strategy focuses on blending high-engagement storytelling with relevant, topical conversations, reflecting a broader shift in how younger audiences consume media. Rather than traditional formats, the platform leans into creator-led narratives and culturally resonant content designed to inform while entertaining.
Highlighting the intent behind the platform, Saval emphasised that today’s youth seek empowerment over instruction, shaping Zingabad’s tone and approach.
The company has also strengthened its leadership team, with Neha Tandon joining as Chief Growth Officer to drive expansion and monetisation, and Darpan Sah, formerly of The Lallantop, coming on board as Chief Content Officer to lead editorial strategy.
As competition intensifies in the digital media space, Zingabad enters with a clear focus-building a culturally relevant, youth-first content ecosystem.
