To Represent India and South Asia in Global Talent Development Mission

Shubhranshu Singh, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, has been appointed to the inaugural board of directors of the Effie Lions Foundation. The newly formed Foundation is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) non-profit, created following Informa plc’s acquisition of Effie Worldwide in January 2025. Informa also owns the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity.

The Effie Lions Foundation is committed to educating and empowering future marketing talent across the globe, with an emphasis on reaching underrepresented communities. As a voting board member, Singh will help ensure the financial integrity and strategic direction of the Foundation.

Championing Regional Inclusion

In his role, Singh will specifically represent India and South Asia, ensuring that the unique challenges and opportunities of the region are reflected in the Foundation’s global initiatives. His involvement will be crucial in shaping regionally relevant programs and enhancing access to marketing education and mentorship in these markets.

Industry-Wide Collaboration

Singh joins a diverse group of board members representing advertisersglobal brandsmedia companiesnon-profits, and academia. Together, they will act as an action group, addressing the industry’s growing need for a diverse and future-ready talent pipeline.

Board responsibilities include participation in biannual meetings-one typically held in January in New York or London, and another during the Cannes Lions Festival in June. Members are also expected to contribute through committee involvement.
