Adobe has significantly expanded its Firefly generative AI platform with the launch of a dedicated mobile app for iOS and Android, bringing powerful creative tools to users on the move. Seamlessly integrated with Adobe Creative Cloud, the app allows creators to generate and edit images, videos, and designs across devices-streamlining the creative process from ideation to production.
With this update, Firefly now supports a broader ecosystem of AI models, integrating not only Adobe’s proprietary technologies but also tools from leading AI developers such as Ideogram, Luma AI, Pika, Runway, OpenAI, Google, and Black Forest Labs. This multi-model integration enables creators to work across diverse visual styles, media formats, and creative tasks—all within a unified environment.
Among the platform’s new features is Firefly Boards, Adobe’s AI-powered collaborative moodboarding tool, now enhanced with video support. Users can develop visual concepts collaboratively, combining images and video clips while experimenting with features like Style Reference, Structure Reference, Generative Expand, Remove, and Fill.
Other advanced capabilities include:
- Scene to Image (Beta): Generate images from 3D scenes
- Vector and Template Generation: Create editable artwork and templates via text prompts
- Text Effects: Stylize typography with generative AI
- Avatar & Sound Effects (Coming Soon): Generate avatars and audio from text and sync audio/video using voice inputs
