Motorola Mobility Elevates Shivam Ranjan to Global Head of Brand

Motorola Mobility, a Lenovo company, has announced the promotion of Shivam Ranjan to the role of Global Head of Brand. In this strategic leadership position, Ranjan will be responsible for defining and executing the company’s global brand vision, overseeing end-to-end marketing communications across Motorola’s products, software, and services worldwide.

Ranjan most recently served as Head of Marketing for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing Motorola’s brand visibility and strengthening marketing operations across key markets, including India.

In a LinkedIn post reflecting on his career journey, Ranjan noted, “Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of leading marketing for India and then the broader APAC region. Each chapter has been a journey of learning, growth, and meaningful contribution to both the brand and the business.”

Commenting on his new role, he added, “It is a privilege to lead the Motorola brand on a global platform. Motorola is an iconic name in the technology space, and I look forward to driving its continued evolution and global relevance.”

Ranjan began his career as a software engineer at Infosys, before transitioning into marketing roles across diverse sectors. He has held leadership positions at FiberlinkArshiya International, and Kelvin Cold Chain Logistics.

His previous roles also include Senior Manager – Marketing at Samsung Electronics, where he led comprehensive 360-degree marketing campaigns, and Head of Brand and Marketing at Airtel Payments Bank, where he was responsible for brand strategy, consumer engagement, and managing multi-channel campaigns across ATL, BTL, and digital platforms.
