Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has appointed Gaurav Laghate as Head of PR and Corporate Communications, effective September 2025. With over 17 years in journalism, most recently as senior editor at Mint covering media, entertainment, and advertising, Laghate will lead SPNI’s communications strategy to strengthen corporate reputation and stakeholder engagement. Reporting to MD & CEO Gaurav Banerjee, his transition from journalism to communications is expected to bring a unique perspective in shaping authentic narratives and reinforcing trust as SPNI enters its next phase of growth.
