Bank of America teams up with David Beckham to strengthen global sports footprint

Bank of America has signed a multi-year partnership with global sports legend, entrepreneur and philanthropist Sir David Beckham, appointing him as the ambassador for its international sports platform, Sports with Us. The collaboration aims to spotlight the bank’s expanding sports portfolio, which supports marquee events, youth programs and community initiatives worldwide.

Beckham said the partnership reflects his long-held belief in sport’s ability to unite people and open doors for young talent. “Sport has the power to bring people together and create real opportunities. I’ve seen how initiatives like Sports with Us make a meaningful difference,” he said, adding that the bank’s commitment to long-term impact aligns with his own work with organisations such as UNICEF. “I’m proud to join Bank of America in amplifying programs that use sport as a catalyst for change.”

Sports with Us builds on the bank’s deep-rooted involvement in major leagues and global sporting moments. The platform invests in initiatives that foster participation, well-being and access for young people across the U.S., while contributing significantly to local economies. In 2026 and beyond, Bank of America will play a central role in events such as FIFA World Cup 26™, The Boston Marathon, The Masters Tournament, the Augusta National Women’s Amateur and the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.

David Tyrie, President, Marketing, Digital and Specialized Consumer Client Solutions, said Beckham’s commitment to community development made the partnership a natural fit. “He shares our mission to empower people through sport. With his support, we’ll elevate our efforts and invest where it creates the most impact.”

The tie-up is facilitated by Authentic Brands Group (ABG), co-owner and manager of the Beckham brand, with Authentic Live supporting event execution across the bank’s U.S. sports initiatives.
