Balaji Telefilms has expanded its digital footprint with the launch of Kutingg, a new entertainment platform designed around daily consumption habits and mobile-first audiences. The platform went live on 19 January 2026, introducing a steady slate of original fiction, non-fiction, and vertical-format content aimed at habitual viewing rather than event-driven releases.
The launch event saw the presence of senior leadership, including Group CRO Nitin Burman and Head of Content Meghna Joshi, along with cast members from Kutingg’s original shows such as Iqbal Khan, Sharad Malhotra, Abigail Pande, Shehzad Sheikh, Chahat Pandey, and Aishwarya Sakhuja. Their participation underscored the platform’s focus on original storytelling and talent-led content.
Kutingg follows a structured weekly programming model, offering varied formats across the week to encourage consistent engagement. Family drama Saas Bahu aur Swaad airs from Monday to Thursday, while binge-worthy original Missing Priya drops every Friday. Saturdays feature vertical short-form series like Janlewa Ishq and Romeo Ke Dil Mein Juliet, with non-fiction show Honestly Why Not? rounding out the week on Sundays. This format-led approach reflects evolving viewing preferences that balance short bursts with appointment viewing.
The platform has also announced a pipeline of upcoming titles including Mujhe Tu Chahiye, ACP Vikrant, Jaffna Hills, and Ghar Tera Mera, alongside additional daily dramas and vertical formats.
Balaji Telefilms’ leadership highlighted Kutingg as a strategic step toward building a consistent, family-friendly digital destination. Operating independently under the Balaji umbrella, the platform prioritizes regular content drops and sustainable growth, positioning itself as a reliable everyday entertainment choice for modern audiences.
