Hyundai Motor India posted a 6.3% year-on-year increase in consolidated profit for Q3 FY26, with net profit rising to Rs 1,234 crore from Rs 1,160 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations grew 8% YoY to Rs 17,973 crore, driven by steady domestic demand, robust export momentum, and improved operational efficiency, even as sequential profitability moderated from Rs 1,572 crore in Q2 FY26.
Total expenses for the quarter rose to Rs 16,551 crore, reflecting higher operating and input costs. For the nine months ended FY26, the company reported EBITDA of Rs 6,632 crore, up 3.3% YoY, with EBITDA margins expanding to 12.8%, despite costs related to capacity stabilization and elevated commodity prices.
Domestic demand remained resilient, aided by festive season tailwinds and GST-related support, while wholesale volumes rose 5% quarter-on-quarter. Export momentum strengthened significantly, with volumes up 21% YoY in Q3 FY26, contributing 25% to Hyundai’s overall sales mix.
The company’s SUV portfolio continued to drive growth, with the Creta reclaiming its position as India’s highest-selling SUV, recording its highest-ever annual sales of over 200,000 units in 2025.
Commenting on the performance, Tarun Garg, MD & CEO of Hyundai Motor India, said, “The third-quarter performance underscores our resilience and strong execution of our ‘Quality of Growth’ strategy, marked by healthy growth in volumes, revenue, and profitability.”
During the quarter, Hyundai also announced key leadership appointments, including Yun Kil Kim as Function Head – Product Strategy and Planning, and Dong Huwy Park as Whole-time Director. January sales reached 73,137 units, up 11.5% YoY, with domestic dispatches at 59,107 units and exports at 14,030 units.
