INNOCEAN India & Canvas Worldwide India secure brand communications mandate for UPES University

INNOCEAN India, in partnership with Canvas Worldwide India, has been awarded the integrated communications mandate for UPES University. The collaboration will see INNOCEAN lead creative and strategic duties, while Canvas Worldwide oversees media planning and execution.

The remit spans long-term brand building as well as campaign-driven initiatives. The first phase of the engagement will centre on developing a cohesive, integrated campaign framework for 2026, aligning messaging, media and stakeholder outreach under a unified structure.

Operating in an increasingly competitive higher education landscape, UPES is seeking to sharpen its positioning and streamline communication across platforms and audiences. The agency partnership is designed to ensure tighter alignment between strategy, creative development and media deployment.

For INNOCEAN India, the win strengthens its expanding non-automotive portfolio, which includes brands such as Hamdard, Sony, KEI Cables and IFFCO Tokio.

Bharat Kharbanda, chief business officer at GUS Global Services, noted that the decision was driven by the need for a more structured and integrated communications approach. Robinh Sharma, marketing director at UPES, added that the focus for 2026 will be on clearly articulating the university’s differentiators, from academic programmes to industry integration.

Jae Ho Yoo, managing director and CEO of INNOCEAN India, said the mandate supports the agency’s broader growth strategy, while Santosh Kumar, COO, emphasised the move toward a unified planning and execution model in collaboration with Canvas Worldwide India.
