DS Group has announced an exclusive partnership with British dessert brand Ben’s Cookies, marking the Oxford-born brand’s official entry into the Indian market.
Established in 1983 at Oxford’s Covered Market, Ben’s Cookies has built its reputation on freshly baked cookies and a distinctive “bakery-first” retail philosophy centred on in-store baking and same-day fresh preparation. The India launch will stay true to that ethos, with each outlet featuring live-oven baking throughout the day to preserve the brand’s signature quality standards.
The initial flavour lineup includes Milk Chocolate Chunk, White Chocolate & Macadamia, and Ginger & Dark Chocolate, alongside a locally relevant eggless variant. Individual cookies are priced from Rs 325, with gifting selections starting upward of Rs 1,500 – positioning the brand firmly within the premium dessert segment.
Beyond cookies, stores will also serve cookie shakes, coffee, and cookie ice cream sandwiches, creating an experiential retail offering designed for urban consumers.
Sanskriti Gupta of Ben’s Cookies India described the launch as a significant milestone in DS Group’s strategic expansion within premium food retail. The company has set an ambitious target of eight to ten physical store openings across India within the current financial year, complemented by availability across e-commerce and food delivery platforms.
The partnership arrives at an opportune moment, as India’s premium cookie and dessert segment continues to grow, driven by rising urban consumption and increasing appetite for artisanal, handcrafted food experiences.
