Omnicom Media named world’s largest media network

Omnicom Media has emerged as the world’s largest media management network, according to COMvergence’s Final 2025 Global & Regional Billings Rankings, with total billings of $75.6 billion.

The ranking marks the first to capture the combined scale of Omnicom Media Group and IPG Mediabrands, following Omnicom’s acquisition of IPG, which closed in November 2025. COMvergence noted that Omnicom Media now accounts for 31% of global billings managed by major media groups as of end-2025, ahead of WPP and Publicis.

The network topped regional rankings as well, placing first in North America with $35.9 billion in billings (including $33.1 billion in the US) and first in Latin America with $2.3 billion. COMvergence attributed the rankings partly to major 2025 client wins, including Amazon, Paramount and Volvo globally, while in India, the network added Tata Motors, Marico and OpenAI to its roster.

Florian Adamski, CEO of Omnicom Media, said the milestone lies less in scale itself than in how that scale translates into shared intelligence, data access and stronger partnerships for clients and talent alike.

Kartik Sharma, CEO, Omnicom Media India, said growth in India is increasingly tied to converting data, culture and commerce into outcomes, with the network positioned to combine global scale with local market nuance.

At the agency level, OMD retained its position as the world’s largest media agency network, with $26.9 billion in billings, leading in North America and EMEA. In India, Omnicom Media reported new business exceeding Rs 12,000 crore in 2026, including Amazon Music, AMFI and Netflix.
