Prime Video has tapped into one of the internet’s biggest pop-culture trends with a humorous parody of India’s Got Latent to promote its upcoming original series, Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya. Titled Kids Got Talent (Maybe), the promotional film recreates the show’s signature format while giving it a child-friendly twist.
The spoof features Ashneer Grover, Chandan Prabhakar, Naveen Kasturia and Archana Puran Singh as judges, with children from Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya taking centre stage as contestants. Mirroring the quirky humour and unpredictable performances associated with India’s Got Latent, the promo blends comedy, deadpan reactions and playful banter to create an entertaining pre-launch campaign.
The video also includes child actor Aryan Prajapati, known for his memorable “ya ya ya” dialogue from Baaghi, alongside a series of unconventional performances that leave the judges amused and confused. Several moments in the film cleverly reference internet culture and the original show’s comedic style, making it instantly relatable for digital audiences.
The campaign reflects a growing trend of brands and streaming platforms using parody-led marketing and creator culture to generate buzz around new releases. Prime Video has previously embraced similar promotional formats, including creator-driven campaigns for The Family Man 3, featuring Samay Raina, Apoorva Mukhija and Tanmay Bhat.
Produced by Posham Pa Pictures, Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya is a seven-episode comedy-drama created by Biswapati Sarkar and Sameer Saxena, and directed by Himank Gaur. The series stars Kay Kay Menon, Archana Puran Singh, Naveen Kasturia, Abhimanyu Singh, Deven Bhojani and others.
Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya premieres on Prime Video on July 24, and will be available in Hindi with English subtitles across India and more than 240 countries and territories.
