Academy Award and Grammy-winning composer A.R. Rahman has unveiled the ARR Immersive App for Apple Vision Pro, marking a new step in immersive storytelling by combining music, cinema and spatial computing on Apple’s visionOS platform.

Now available on the Apple App Store for Apple Vision Pro users, the app delivers original experiences designed specifically for spatial computing, allowing audiences to engage with music and storytelling in an interactive three-dimensional environment.

The platform debuts with three immersive Kathak dance performances choreographed by Shrita Baskar and performed by Pranith AP, Palak Chauhan and Mudra IV. The performances blend Indian classical dance with iconic Western classical compositions including Clair de Lune, Rachmaninoff and Für Elise, creating a unique cross-cultural experience.

The app also features exclusive content from Le Musk, Rahman’s acclaimed 360-degree virtual reality film that premiered at the Cannes XR Festival. Reimagined for Apple Vision Pro, the experience has been enhanced with Apple Spatial Audio Format (ASAF) to deliver an immersive three-dimensional soundscape. Additionally, the ARR Livesection will showcase Rahman’s concert performances and live recordings, with more immersive content planned for future updates.

Speaking about the launch, A.R.
