boAt has stepped into the children’s technology space with the launch of its Kid Series, featuring the Sailor Nav 4G smartwatch and Sailor Play wireless headphones, as reported by Moneycontrol.
The Sailor Nav is priced at Rs 6,499, while the Sailor Play headphones come at Rs 1,499. Both products will be sold via boAt’s official website and leading e-commerce platforms.
Designed with safety and connectivity at its core, the Sailor Nav smartwatch supports 4G voice and video calling, along with Google Maps-based live location tracking. It also comes equipped with geo-fencing powered by five-point satellite positioning and an SOS button for emergencies – features clearly aimed at giving parents added peace of mind. The watch sports a 1.4-inch HD display and allows audio messaging between Sailor Nav users, adding a layer of kid-friendly communication.
On the audio side, the Sailor Play headphones are built with an 85dB volume limiter to protect young ears, paired with 40mm drivers for immersive sound. The headphones offer Bluetooth connectivity and an impressive battery life of up to 60 hours. Comfort-focused details include an adjustable headband and soft ear cushions, while built-in controls make music playback and calls easy to manage.
With this launch, boAt taps into the growing demand for kid-safe wearables that blend functionality, safety and entertainment – positioning itself in a category increasingly shaped by parental concerns around screen time, connectivity and child safety.
