NODWIN Gaming has struck an exclusive digital streaming partnership with livestreaming platform KICK for the BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 5, marking a major shift in how India’s biggest BGMI esports tournament reaches its audience. Every match of the season will now stream solely on KICK, positioning the platform as the tournament’s official digital partner.
The move signals a clear pivot from BGMS’s earlier television-first playbook, which was designed to introduce esports to mainstream Indian viewers. With the tournament’s community now firmly digital-native, NODWIN is doubling down on livestreaming as the primary viewing experience.
Akshat Rathee, co-founder and managing director of NODWIN Gaming, said television helped BGMS build its early audience, but the tournament has since grown into one of India’s leading esports properties with a strong digital-first fanbase. He added that the KICK partnership opens up new avenues to experiment with fan engagement formats while strengthening the tournament’s long-term commercial and IP potential.
Ethan Wright, director at KICK, noted the tie-up reflects the platform’s focus on gaming communities and live content.
The announcement lands as India’s gaming industry keeps scaling – citing Naavik’s India State of Play 2026 report, NODWIN pointed to nearly 8 billion annual game downloads nationwide, with in-app purchase revenues more than doubling over the past five years.
BGMS Season 5 runs from August 10 to September 6, 2026, with daily matches streaming exclusively on KICK. The first match kicks off at 4 PM IST each day, with the finale at 7:20 PM IST.
