Gap has launched its Fall 2026 campaign, ‘Denim on Your Own’, starring musician Malcolm Todd and actor Inde Navarrette.
The film centres on Todd’s reinterpretation of Robyn’s ‘Dancing on My Own’, following Todd and Navarrette across a series of settings as they express their individual styles through GapDenim. It’s directed by Tanu Muiño, with creative direction from Calvin Leung, Head of Gap Brand Creative, fashion and image by Alastair McKimm, and photography by Bjorn Loos.
Mark Breitbard, President and CEO of Gap brand, said the brand has long sat at the intersection of music, style and culture, partnering with artists who bring a distinct point of view to build cultural relevance through authentic storytelling.
Fabiola Torres, Chief Marketing Officer of Gap brand, said the brief to Todd wasn’t simply to cover the track but to reinterpret it through his own lens – a spirit mirroring GapDenim’s philosophy of helping people find fits that feel distinctly their own.
Malcolm Todd said he’s always been drawn to making things his own, and reinterpreting the iconic song while staying true to himself made the experience meaningful.
Navarrette said the shoot let her and Todd bring their own energy to the campaign, reinforcing that style is ultimately about showing up confidently as yourself.
The Fall 2026 GapDenim collection features new washes, utility-inspired colourways and updated silhouettes, including the Mid-Rise Straight Taper Jean and ’90s Loose Jean.
