Spinny has launched a campaign bringing together 36 artists from across India, transforming cars into canvases that capture the distinct culture, landscapes and identity of the regions they represent.
Timed around Independence Day, the campaign film brings together artworks inspired by different states and union territories, with each artist interpreting their home region through their own visual language – drawing from local architecture, traditions, people and everyday life. A car representing Arunachal Pradesh carries a visual identity distinct from one inspired by Goa, just as Rajasthan, Kerala, Ladakh and Delhi each find their own artistic expression.
The initiative features artists representing regions across India – from Arunachal Pradesh and Assam to Tamil Nadu, Ladakh and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands – turning everyday cars into visual representations of the places they call home.
Beyond the campaign, the initiative reflects Spinny’s effort to spotlight local creative talent, offering regional artists a platform to showcase their work to a wider audience.
At its core, the campaign positions India as a country shaped by multiple identities rather than one – with these cars becoming moving portraits that carry regional stories into everyday public spaces and communities.
