As India prepares to host the 18th BRICS Summit on September 12–13, CNN-News18 has announced a week-long special programming initiative, “BRICS: Bharat’s Moment,” running from September 7–13.
With India at the centre of another major global gathering, the channel will deliver on-ground reporting and analysis, tracking key developments and diplomatic dynamics while examining what the summit means for India’s global standing and BRICS’s evolving future.
Coverage includes a dedicated BRICS Bulletin + Reporter segment through the week, combining fast-paced updates with ground reports and analysis by Siddhant Mishra. From September 7–10, “Take Three Special: The Inside Track” airs daily at 4:30 PM, focusing on the summit’s internal diplomatic dynamics.
Three special editions of “Take Three: The BRICS View” follow on September 11, 12, and 13, anchored individually by Rahul Shivshankar, Anand Narasimhan, and Shawan Sen, featuring expert panels and perspectives from partners Sputnik and CGTN.
Adding a global dimension, CNN-News18 will also host a joint broadcast with Sputnik and CGTN from September 11–13, bringing Indian and international viewpoints together.
