AdTech company Frodoh has partnered with regional OTT platform STAGE to launch a first-screen monetisation framework on STAGE’s app, opening up new advertising placements without disrupting the viewing experience.
The collaboration will let STAGE offer ad placements on its home screen and discovery interface, while keeping actual content streaming ad-free. Frodoh’s framework, built specifically for connected TV (CTV), uses signals like viewing intent, session depth, and discovery behaviour to determine where and how ads appear. The offering spans STAGE’s full language portfolio, including Haryanvi, Rajasthani, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, and Hindi.
Vinay Singhal, CEO & co-founder at STAGE, said the company has always prioritised building a premium experience for India’s diverse language audiences, and that the Frodoh partnership opens a new monetisation layer within the discovery journey without interrupting content consumption. He added that this creates greater advertiser value while keeping the audience experience seamless.
Russhabh R Thakkar, founder and CEO of Frodoh, said the first-screen framework is designed to help regional OTT platforms tap into high-attention inventory without compromising viewer experience. He noted that the STAGE partnership extends this model across seven language-first audiences, and that combining STAGE’s regional depth with Frodoh’s CTV-first technology creates a scalable, premium monetisation opportunity for regional OTT.
Together, the two companies aim to build a monetisation model that lets advertisers reach regional audiences through STAGE’s discovery experience – all while keeping core content free of interruptions.
