Hero VIDA Bags Title Sponsorship of India’s 12-Match New Zealand Tour

New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has named Hero VIDA as title sponsor for India’s upcoming 12-match tour of New Zealand, marking the electric vehicle brand’s naming rights across all three formats of the series. The announcement lands in a symbolic year, as India and New Zealand mark a century of sporting ties.

The sponsorship has been brokered by TCM Sports, which has held NZC’s exclusive naming rights and on-ground partnership since 2019, a mandate running through 2031.

Sanjay Bhan, Executive Vice President, Global Business, Global Product Planning and Global Market Insights at Hero MotoCorp, said the tie-up lets Hero VIDA align with a high-profile international series while reflecting the brand’s core values of movement, ambition and progress.

Lokesh Sharma, Managing Director, TCM Sports, called the tour especially significant given both its scale and its timing in the centenary year of India-New Zealand sporting relations, adding that the agency looks forward to delivering strong outcomes across the series for its long-standing partner NZC.

Geoff Allott, CEO, New Zealand Cricket, noted that a 12-match series spanning all three formats reflects the scale of the tour, welcoming Hero VIDA on board for what he expects to be a competitive and closely watched home summer.

The tour kicks off on 22nd October 2026 and forms part of NZC’s “100 Years of Unity through Sport” programme, commemorating a sporting relationship that dates back to 1926, when an Indian Army hockey team became the first Indian team to tour New Zealand.
