Škoda’s ‘For the Restless’ Campaign Puts the Kylaq Sportline in the Driver’s Seat of a New Generation

Škoda Auto India and BBH India have launched ‘For the Restless,’ an integrated campaign for the Kylaq Sportline, the newest variant in the Kylaq lineup. The launch builds on strong momentum for the model, which has crossed 75,000 units sold and become a key driver of Škoda’s best-ever sales performance in its 25th year in the Indian market.

The campaign’s centrepiece is a high-energy film built around a generation that resists convention and charts its own course. It opens with the rhythmic tapping of a foot – a beat of anticipation and impatience – before cutting to the tap of the Kylaq Sportline’s accelerator pedal, tying that restlessness directly to the act of driving.

Ashish Gupta, Brand Director at Škoda Auto India, said the Kylaq has become central to the brand’s growth story and has widened its customer base, and that the Sportline variant adds a more dynamic, expressive edge to the range, reflecting the ambition and individuality of a new generation of SUV buyers.

Parikshit Bhattaccharya, Chief Creative Officer at BBH India and Propagate India, said the Kylaq Sportline’s spirited drive answers the restlessness young people feel, and that the film – set to Meba’s Khasi rap – is built to make audiences feel that thrill.

Now live digitally, the campaign is expanding across television, print and outdoor as part of an integrated rollout. The push aims to build visibility for the Sportline’s sportier positioning and strengthen its appeal among a new wave of contemporary SUV buyers.
