Ai+ Smartphone has partnered with New Zealand Cricket (NZC) for India’s upcoming 12-match tour of New Zealand – the largest inbound international series in NZC’s history by match count. The tour spans five T20Is, five ODIs, and two Tests, kicking off October 22, 2026.
The partnership coincides with India and New Zealand marking 100 years of sporting ties, with the tour forming part of NZC’s ‘Unity through Sport’ centenary celebrations. As part of the deal, Ai+ Smartphone secures an integrated presence across all three formats throughout the series, extending the brand’s visibility well beyond its core smartphone category.
Archi Gogoi, Head of Brand, Marketing & Growth at Ai+ Smartphone, called cricket a shared cultural experience that unites generations, adding that the partnership lets the brand tap into performance and innovation narratives that mirror its own positioning in technology – made more meaningful by the centenary milestone between the two countries.
Lokesh Sharma, Managing Director of TCM Sports – NZC’s exclusive commercial and on-ground partner since 2019 – noted that the scale of the tour combined with its symbolic timing made it a particularly strong platform for the association.
NZC CEO Geoff Allott welcomed Ai+ Smartphone as the tour’s ‘Powered By’ Partner, highlighting the scale the 12-match series offers sponsors.
The tour opens in Christchurch on October 22, moving through Wellington, Auckland, Hamilton, and Tauranga, before concluding with the second Test at Hagley Oval from November 27 to December 1.
