GOPIZZA has rebranded as GTGO, shifting from a single-category pizza business to a multi-brand Korean food and beverage platform. The change coincides with the company’s fifth anniversary. Founded in South Korea in 2016, it now operates across 11 countries.
In India, GTGO runs more than 65 stores across three brands: GOPIZZA for pizza, Gochujang for Korean street food and Dalkomi for Korean desserts. Together, they form its K-Food Platform strategy, which is being expanded alongside the existing pizza business.
Co-founder and CEO Mahesh Reddy said the multi-brand approach, tailored to individual markets rather than built around one global brand, is now central to GTGO’s overseas strategy. He called India, with 1.4 billion people and one of the world’s fastest-growing food service sectors, a key proving ground for a model that could shape expansion into other markets.
The growth is backed by proprietary food technology, including conveyor ovens and compact kiosks. The pizza technology runs across more than 1,600 stores globally through partners such as GS25 and CGV, and GTGO is exploring B2B opportunities too. Global CEO and founder Lim Jae-won called the rebrand a milestone in building a global brand rooted in food technology.
The source says the company was founded in 2016 but is marking its fifth anniversary, which doesn’t add up. I’ve kept it as published, so it’s worth confirming with the company before you publish.
