Marico Lifts Its Stake In Plix Parent To 84.09%

Marico has strengthened its hold on Satiya Nutraceuticals, the parent company of plant-based nutrition and personal care brand The Plant Fix (Plix). The FMCG major now owns 84.09% on a fully diluted basis, up from the 60% it held earlier.

The increase comes from the purchase of an additional 24.09% stake from the company’s founders and certain other shareholders. Marico paid Rs 1,012.03 crore for this tranche on October 5, 2026. With this, its total consideration for the 84.09% holding stands at Rs 1,392.07 crore, according to a report by Economic Times.

The deal is part of a larger agreement under which Marico will acquire a total of 38.18% in the business in tranches. The remaining 14.09%, held by the founder and certain other shareholders, is scheduled to be acquired in July 2027, subject to the terms of the agreements. That payout will include a base amount of up to Rs 592 crore, along with additional consideration linked to milestones and other terms.

Plix operates across the health and wellness segments, a space where Marico has been steadily building its presence.

Alongside the acquisition update, Marico shared a business update for the second quarter ended September 30, 2026. Its domestic business recorded double-digit underlying volume growth, with Parachute Coconut Oil delivering early-teens volume growth. The company expects double-digit revenue growth and mid-twenties operating profit growth for the quarter.
