Eggoz has signed actor Boman Irani as its brand ambassador and launched a campaign built around the ‘Eggoz effect’. Conceptualised by ANC, the film shows how a simple egg can change the mood of an entire room.
The story is set in a sleepy office where Irani plays the boss. The moment he returns from lunch, the place springs to life and employees suddenly move at double speed. That shift in pace carries the idea that food can influence everyday moods and energy. Bhurji, omelettes and sunny-side-up eggs feature through the film, all credited for the sudden burst of activity.
Abhishek Negi, co-founder and CEO of Eggoz, said Irani’s warmth and humour mirror what the brand stands for, and that having him embody the Eggoz effect was the most natural way to tell the story. Irani said he was drawn to how Eggoz makes something as ordinary as an egg feel special. He added that the film doesn’t take itself too seriously, yet says something true about little things brightening a day.
Shivan Nair, head of marketing at Eggoz, described the Eggoz effect as the brand’s promise in disguise: good food should lift your whole day. Samarjeet Shimpi, CEO of ANC, said the brand needed to own an emotion in the egg space, one that is delightful and full of energy. That led to the expression “Sunny Side Up,” which he feels Irani exemplifies best.
The campaign is part of Eggoz’s wider communication around nutrition and everyday consumption. It also highlights its eggs, which the company says are freshly dispatched and produced under its quality standards.
