Lenskart Turns the Sound of Indian Music Into Eyewear With Shunya

Lenskart has launched Shunya, a new eyewear collection inspired by the sound and soul of Indian music, as part of its Indian Accents family celebrating Indian culture and heritage. Announced in New Delhi on October 8, 2026, the collection arrives ahead of the festive season and is available across Lenskart stores and the Lenskart app.

The name carries an idea rooted in Indian thought. Shunya, or zero, stands for the meditative space from which sound and creation emerge. Across 37 eyeglass and sunglass styles, the collection translates music’s rhythm, instruments and cultural vocabulary into modern silhouettes, with details inspired by the sitar, flute and lotus. Indian Accents also includes Indus, a collection celebrating India’s ancient metal craftsmanship.

To bring the story to life, Lenskart has introduced Lenskart Live, a new format for taking the stories behind its collections to customers through experiences. The aim, the brand says, is to take collection stories beyond the frames and into experiences people can join and enjoy. The debut edition, Sounds of Shunya, brings 10 artists together for five evenings of live music, streaming exclusively on the Lenskart app from October 8 to 12, between 7 pm and 8 pm.

The line-up spans contemporary bhajans, classical, Carnatic, Sufi and ghazal. Backstage Siblings Prachi and Raghav Agarwal, known for “bhajan jamming” with over 300 shows across 50 cities, lead the bhajan movement. They are joined by Arunita Kanjilal, Kavya Ajit, Anushka Gouttam, Vishwajeet Borwankar, Mahesh Raghvan, Shravan Sridhar, Nandini Shankar, Swayam, Varsh Jain and Ved Prajapati.
