This festive season, Krispy Kreme has teamed up with Social Panga and Yellow Shutter on a film that celebrates the moments that make up Gen Z’s social lives, from big occasions to small everyday ones that end up just as memorable. Nostalgia is the hero, and Krispy Kreme’s Chocolate Iced Glazed doughnuts feature as the highlight of a group of friends’ celebrations.
The camera roll acts as the creative device, moving between moments and memories to bring alive a simple thought: there’s a doughnut for every moment, small or big. Under the #ThisOneStays platform, Rohit Singh, Senior Creative Director at Social Panga, said what once lived in scrapbooks now lives in phone galleries, and Krispy Kreme appears as one of life’s familiar little constants. Gaurav Arora, Co-founder of Social Panga, added that life is a collection of little moments, and the best usually involve good company and something worth sharing.
Gokul Kandhi, COO of Curefoods, said Gen Z values shared experiences, self-expression and small rituals. He said the brand wants to build a deeper emotional connection by creating experiences that feel relevant, spontaneous and shareable, and that go beyond the product itself.
The campaign also aims to move Krispy Kreme beyond being seen mainly as a treat and toward being a companion across celebrations. The Chocolate doughnut collection anchors this idea, belonging as naturally at a festive gathering as at a catch-up or a moment of personal indulgence. The film closes on the thought that festivals change every year, but the people and shared rituals are what stay.
