Flipkart Turns Every Mother’s “Ek Size Bada Le Lo” into a Big Billion Days TV Pitch

This Big Billion Days, Flipkart is nudging shoppers to think bigger when buying their next TV. Its new campaign, “Ek Size Bada Le Lo,” takes a piece of classic motherly advice and gives it a fresh meaning in the context of the festive sale. Conceptualised by 22feet, part of Omnicom Advertising India, the film encourages consumers to look beyond their usual screen size.

The idea springs from a childhood memory many Indians share: mothers asking children to buy clothes one size bigger so they can keep wearing them as they grow. Flipkart carries that insight over to TV shopping, with a simple twist. A size bigger usually means a bigger bill, but during Big Billion Days, shoppers can bring home a larger screen without stretching their budget.

Ishan Mehta, Executive Creative Director at 22feet, said the insight of parents choosing slightly oversized clothes felt instantly relatable. The creative unlock, he explained, was taking a mantra usually reserved for apparel and applying it to large-screen TVs. The result, he added, is a universal story that finds a natural segue into Big Billion deals.

Blending humour, nostalgia and a recognisable cultural insight, the campaign connects festive offers with everyday consumer experiences. The film will be amplified across digital platforms, reaching shoppers as they browse Big Billion Days deals and weigh their next big-ticket purchase.
