BULLET Microdrama, backed by ZEE Entertainment Enterprises, has partnered with Vitrina, a film and television industry intelligence company, to explore opportunities in international microdrama markets. As it completes one year in India, BULLET plans to take its short-form vertical content business to markets where its content and production capabilities can be adapted for local audiences.
Vitrina’s network across more than 100 countries and its AI platform, VIQI, will provide market intelligence on companies, creators, projects and industry activity. This is expected to help BULLET identify content, distribution and co-production opportunities, as well as prospective clients and use cases for its AI technology, Trinetra AI. The company also wants to build relationships with creators, producers, distributors and platforms.
Azim Lalani, co-founder and chief business officer, BULLET Microdrama and Trinetra AI, said the partnership would help the company find markets where its content and technology can grow, while learning from local creators and industry ecosystems. Saurabh Kushwah, co-founder and CPTO, said BULLET aims to use AI-led dubbing, lip-sync and localisation capabilities to help content owners adapt their libraries for international audiences.
Kushwah added that Vitrina’s industry intelligence and network could help build partnerships with studios, producers, distributors and platforms. Atul Phadnis, founder and CEO of Vitrina, said microdrama is expanding rapidly and that partnerships will help platforms identify opportunities in the format.
