Gemini Gets a Small Business Makeover, with a Dedicated Hub, Brand-Aware Visuals and Finance Tools

Google has introduced a set of new tools in its Gemini app aimed at helping small business owners handle routine tasks, create marketing content and make sense of their financial data. Announced on October 21, the update centres on a dedicated business landing page that brings together tools for brand building, financial analysis and customer insights. Google said tens of millions of small business owners already use Gemini to brainstorm products, manage customer feedback and assess performance.

The new page lets users connect Gemini with Google services such as Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Google Workspace. Integrations with third-party platforms, including Adobe, Canva, Dropbox, Shopify, Wix, Zoho and Xero, are also on the way.

On the creative side, businesses can define their visual identity by uploading their website, brand kit, fonts and colour palettes. Using Google’s Nano Banana 2.1 image-generation model, they can then produce visuals for product launches and campaigns that follow their brand guidelines. Gemini retains the chosen style, so owners need not re-upload guidelines with every request.

The financial tools help owners interpret their numbers. Gemini can turn spreadsheets, receipts and purchase records into financial graphics and interactive models, making business data easier to review. Google said the landing page, marketing and finance tools, and app integrations will begin rolling out to Gemini app users worldwide in the coming days.
