After a remarkable 25-year tenure with the Jagran group, Bharat Gupta has concluded his chapter as CEO of Jagran New Media, embarking on a new professional path.

Gupta announced his departure on Linkedin, After a quarter-century with Jagran Prakashan Ltd. and Jagran New Media, I’m stepping down to reflect and explore new horizons. Leading Jagran New Media has been extraordinary, filled with learning and collaboration.

I’m deeply grateful to colleagues, partners, and industry peers who contributed to our success. Special thanks to teams at Google, Meta, IAMAI, INMA, Taboola, and various fact-checking organizations for helping shape the digital media landscape.

This isn’t farewell, but a transition to new possibilities. My passion for digital media remains strong, and I look forward to embracing fresh perspectives and contributing in new ways when the time is right.
