Nike has announced its 2025 After Dark Tour, a global women’s race series designed as the ultimate women’s sporting weekend. The initiative continues Nike’s mission to inspire, innovate, and bring more women into sports despite barriers they face.
To mark this milestone, Nike hosted a celebration in Mumbai featuring prominent athletes including Parul Chaudhary and javelin thrower Annu Rani, alongside influential figures Vineeta Singh (Founder, Sugar Cosmetics) and Swetha Subbiah (Founder, Sisters In Sweat).
Set to debut as Mumbai’s first-ever night race on May 10, 2025, the 10K run aims to foster community, self-expression, and belief among women runners. Participants will receive a race bib, exclusive Nike After Dark Tour Swift Tee, and a Nike Swoosh bra as part of their experience.
In an innovative approach, Nike is leveraging WhatsApp to connect women with athletic resources. The After Dark Tour Run Assistant, powered by guided chatbot technology, will provide bite-sized inspiration and expert knowledge to help runners train and stay motivated.
Participants can join a comprehensive 10K training program led by Nike Running Head Coaches Mishti Khatri and Akshata Pai, with weekly community sessions designed to prepare runners for race day.
Tarundeep Singh, General Manager of Nike India, emphasized the event’s significance: “After Dark Tour Mumbai is a movement to empower women to reclaim the night, push boundaries, and run together like never before. It’s about celebrating resilience, determination, and the shared joy of running under the night sky.”
