The Indie Council of the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI), under its AAAI Academia initiative, will host a two-day AI bootcamp for advertising professionals on November 20 and 21 in Mumbai. Aimed at independent and smaller agencies, the programme will also be open to agency clients.
Sessions will cover how AI tools can be used across strategy, creative ideation, copywriting, media planning, production, client pitches and agency workflows. Each session will be led by two faculty members, an industry practitioner and an AI expert, so that participants can return to work and apply what they learn immediately.
The bootcamp will be held at the AAAI office in Mumbai, with just 30 seats allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. The small batch is intentional, keeping the experience focused and practical. Seats are limited, so interested professionals will need to register early to secure a place. Participants who complete the programme will receive a certificate from AAAI Academia.
Dr Sandeep Goyal, President, AAAI, said AI is already the present of advertising, and that independent agencies, the backbone of Indian advertising, must get the same skills, tools and confidence as the largest networks. He added that AAAI Academia will make AI learning a continuous priority for the industry. Tanya Goyal, Chairperson, AAAI Indie Council, said the aim is for indie agencies to see AI not as a threat but as their biggest leveller.
