AB InBev India has introduced Corona Cero, the zero-alcohol version of Corona, in the Indian market. Priced at ₹120, the product will be distributed across modern trade outlets, e-commerce platforms and select on-premise locations nationwide.
The rollout strengthens AB InBev’s non-alcohol portfolio at a time when the segment is seeing steady momentum in India. The company noted that the country’s non-alcohol beer category recorded nearly 25% growth over the past year, with AB InBev India delivering high double-digit gains within the segment.
Vineet Sharma, vice president – marketing and trade marketing at AB InBev India, said the launch comes as consumers increasingly opt for mindful consumption without sacrificing taste or experience. He added that Corona Cero aims to retain the refreshment and flavour associated with the original brand, while offering an alcohol-free alternative that aligns with evolving preferences. The introduction also reinforces the company’s broader smart drinking agenda in India.
To mark its debut, Corona Cero was showcased at Magnetic Fields Nomads through an alcohol-free sunrise bar activation. The brand also collaborated with singer Anuv Jain during his India tour, integrating the product into live music experiences as part of its youth-focused outreach.
The launch aligns with AB InBev’s global smart drinking initiatives, which focus on promoting responsible consumption and expanding access to zero-alcohol alternatives across key markets.
